According to the Shanghai Municipal Postal Administration's WeChat account on August 9, 2026, the bureau issued an urgent notice stating that the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau had issued a red rainstorm warning. In accordance with the work deployment of the municipal flood prevention command, in order to ensure the personal safety of express delivery workers and maintain the safety of delivery operations, all express delivery companies in the districts of Pudong, Huangpu, Jing'an, Xuhui, Changning, Putuo, Hongkou, Yangpu, and Minhang are required to fully suspend operations. Operations will resume only after the red rainstorm warning signal is adjusted or lifted.
