Traditional consumption continues to face pressure, while new consumption growth points are showing vitality, continuously injecting new momentum into expanding domestic demand and boosting consumption. First, traditional commercial enterprises have seen steady growth. In the first half of the year, 1.737 million new enterprises were established in the wholesale and retail sectors, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%. Second, new consumption formats are bursting with vitality. The "silver-haired economy" industry saw the establishment of 31,000 related enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 16.0%; 1.475 million new related enterprises were established in the cultural and tourism industry, maintaining a rapid growth trend; "specialized, high-quality, new" individual industrial and commercial households reached 184,000. Third, the high-tech service industry is accelerating its growth. In the information transmission and software technology service industry, 322,000 new enterprises were established, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%; 16,000 new enterprises were established in the inspection and testing service industry, an increase of 43.9%; and 459,000 new enterprises were established in the science and technology achievement transformation service industry, an increase of 6.8%.
