On the evening of the 7th, the Beijing Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee, the Beijing Planning and Natural Resources Committee, and the Beijing Housing Provident Fund Management Center jointly issued a notice titled "Notice on Further Optimizing and Adjusting the City's Real Estate Policies," which clarifies that the social security or individual income tax payment period for non-Beijing resident families purchasing commercial housing within the Fifth Ring Road has been reduced from "2 years" to "1 year." After the adjustment, the social security or individual income tax payment period for non-Beijing resident families buying commercial housing within the city will be uniformly set at "1 year," while the number of commercial housing units that can be purchased will remain unchanged. Specifically, families who have paid social security or individual income tax for a full year can purchase one unit of commercial housing within the Fifth Ring Road; families with multiple children can purchase an additional unit. Outside the Fifth Ring Road, there will be no limit on the number of units that can be purchased. The notice will be implemented starting from the 8th.
