Huabang Electronics stated at a recent conference that the current monthly production capacity of Module A in Kaohsiung is approximately 15,000 pieces, and it is expected to increase to 24,000 pieces by the end of the year. At this stage, the monthly capacity for 16nm is only about 2,000 pieces, and the company's ideal goal is to raise this to 16,000 pieces per month in the future, although the transition speed will depend on customer demand for 20nm products. The company will also strive to maximize the effective output of existing facilities through process miniaturization, yield improvement, and product mix adjustments before the mass production of Module B. Huabang Electronics' General Manager, Chen Peiming, pointed out that there is a clear shortage in memory supply, and many customers are currently dissatisfied with existing long-term contracts, hoping to extend agreements until 2029 or even 2030, while also securing capacity at the new Module B factory in Kaohsiung ahead of time.
