Due to rainfall, Yongjiang and Jiaojiang may experience numbered floods.

This morning, the Ministry of Water Resources held a consultation to analyze and assess the national flood prevention situation. As of 9 AM today, 13 rivers in Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shaanxi, Yunnan and other areas are still above warning levels. From August 7 to 9, affected by rainfall, the Yongjiang and Jiaojiang rivers may experience numbered flooding, and some small to medium-sized rivers in the heavy rainfall area and certain monitoring stations around Taihu Lake may also see flooding beyond warning levels. Due to upstream water flow, the main stream of the Heilongjiang River at the Fuyuan section will exceed warning levels, and the main stream of the Songhua River, along with its tributaries the Hulan River and the section from the main stream of the Heilongjiang River from Jiamusi to Qindeli, will remain above warning levels. From 8 AM on August 7 to 8 AM on August 8, there is a high probability of mountain torrents in some areas of southwestern Hebei and eastern Shanxi. At 8 AM today, the Ministry of Water Resources issued an orange alert for mountain torrent disasters, reminding the public in areas affected by heavy rainfall and flooding to exercise caution.
