Zhejiang has raised the emergency response for typhoons to Level III.

This year, Typhoon No. 13 "Bai Hai Tun" was located at sea approximately 760 kilometers to the east of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province at 11:00 on August 7, with the maximum wind force near the center reaching level 14. It is expected that "Bai Hai Tun" will move westward at a speed of 15 to 20 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity or a slight increase. According to the "Zhejiang Province Flood Control, Typhoon Prevention, and Drought Relief Emergency Plan" and the defense work plan for Typhoon No. 13 "Bai Hai Tun," after assessment and consultation, the provincial flood control command has decided to raise the typhoon emergency response level to Level III at 12:00 on August 7. All localities and departments are requested to closely monitor the development and changes of the typhoon, efficiently operate the "1833" joint command system, and further enhance monitoring, early warning, forecasting, risk assessment and control, personnel evacuation and transfer, and social publicity and guidance to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
