S&P: Grants the State Grid a long-term issuance rating of "A+" for its proposed issuance of senior unsecured notes.

On August 7, S&P granted State Grid Overseas Investment (BVI) Ltd. a long-term issuance rating of A+ for its proposed issuance of senior unsecured notes, which fall under its $15 billion medium-term note program. The issuer is a wholly-owned special purpose company of State Grid Corporation of China (referred to as "State Grid"), which will provide an unconditional and irrevocable guarantee for these notes.
