Notice from Xiaohongshu: A total of 3,571 accounts involving minors have been dealt with. Some accounts have used AI to alter classic animations by embedding horror and vulgar elements, while others have lured minors into engaging in soft pornography services, resulting in permanent bans.

On August 4th, Xiaohongshu issued a notice regarding the governance of content related to animated content involving minors. Xiaohongshu places great importance on the online protection of minors and considers safeguarding their healthy development an important responsibility of the platform. To implement the requirements of the "Clear and Bright: Online Protection for Minors" special action, the platform has continuously strengthened the governance of harmful content and illegal activities involving minors. Since the launch of the special action, as of August 4th, the platform has conducted a comprehensive inspection of dozens of types of high-risk content related to minors, and has dealt with over 84,000 violations of posts, more than 105,000 violations of comments, and 3,571 accounts in violation. At this stage, in response to scenarios posing risks to minors, the platform is taking the following strict governance measures: enhancing proactive inspections and interception: in response to behaviors that deliberately use coded language, altered images, and other means to maliciously evade review, the platform has upgraded its risk identification model, implementing preemptive interception and strict crackdowns.
