The reporter learned from the Emergency Management Department of Shaanxi Province that from 6:00 AM on August 1 to 6:00 AM on August 2, heavy to torrential rains fell in the central and southern parts of northern Shaanxi, most of Guanzhong, and most of southern Shaanxi, with severe torrential rain in the five counties of Chengcheng, Hantai, Nanzheng, Foping, and Pingli. A total of 106 counties in the province experienced precipitation, with 22 counties receiving less than 10 mm, 15 counties receiving 1025 mm, 34 counties receiving 2550 mm, 30 counties receiving 50100 mm, and 5 counties receiving more than 100 mm. From 6:00 AM on August 1 to 6:00 AM on August 2, Shaanxi Province has relocated 9,908 households and 21,158 people for safety.
