US stocks are fluctuating, with the non-ferrous metal sector generally rising. Century Aluminum Company (CENX.US) rose by over 6%.
According to Zhijun Finance, on Tuesday, the non-ferrous metal sector rose across the board. Century Aluminum (CENX.US) rose by more than 6%, Southern Copper (SCCO.US) and Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold (FCX.US) rose by more than 4%, BHP Group (BHP.US) rose by more than 2%, and Rio Tinto (RIO.US) rose by more than 1%. On the news front, the White House announced on July 20 that President Trump signed a proclamation that day providing tariff preferences on imported aluminum for companies investing in primary aluminum production projects in the United States, based on Section 232 of the 1962 Trade Expansion Act.
