Rectify AI toxic animations, hype fake internet celebrity children and other chaos. The "clean and clear" action sets the regulatory red line.
In order to further strengthen the protection of minors on the internet and create a clean and upright cyberspace, the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office recently issued a notice to deploy and launch a 4-month special action called "Clear and Clean Protection of Minors on the Internet" nationwide, covering the entire process and chain of content production and dissemination. The notice issued by the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office specifies that in the publishing process, it will crack down on the creation of violent animation, the use of AI technology to ridicule classic cartoon characters, deliberately magnifying violent and terrifying elements, and promoting dangerous behaviors such as the choking challenge. It also aims to crack down on packaging and promoting controversial child characters such as "reincarnation of child prodigy" and "precocious little beauty" in order to create negative child images. Furthermore, it will target and crack down on videos promoting negative values such as staged school truancy, lying flat about studying, and advocating bad values.
