DBS Group: Plans to set up 18 wealth management centers in Hong Kong, China and Singapore, planning to hire at least 600 people.

The DBS Group plans to expand its wealth management assets to approximately 1 trillion Singapore dollars by 2030. To achieve this goal, the bank is currently increasing the size of its team and utilizing artificial intelligence technology to enhance operational efficiency and accelerate its presence in the Asian market. The Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management Group at DBS, Sim Wui-Koon, revealed to the media that the bank plans to hire at least 600 employees and open 18 wealth management centers in Singapore and Hong Kong. He also mentioned that they will be adding positions such as relationship managers and platform engineers by the end of next year. Additionally, existing wealth management centers in Singapore, Mainland China, and Hong Kong will also undergo upgrades.
