At the press conference held by the State Council Information Office on July 20, Shenzhen BYD Company's global first launch of the second-generation blade battery and megawatt flash charging system was specially mentioned by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and praised for "breaking the technological bottleneck." This major innovation originating from the Shenzhen-based company BYD is not just a breakthrough in a single product, but a comprehensive acceleration of Shenzhen's "AI+ energy" deep integration, building a new smart energy system, from the bottom-level innovation of power batteries to AI running through the entire chain of generation, grid, load, and storage, providing all-round assistance to the vivid practice of the new energy system "towards intelligence and innovation." In March of this year, BYD released the second-generation blade battery and flash charging technology, achieving a charging from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes, from 10% to 97% in 9 minutes, and maintaining stable charging efficiency even in extremely cold environments of -30C, completely solving the industry pain point of "electric cars not being able to cross the Shanhai Pass."
