The US State Department said on the 19th that US Secretary of State Pompeo met with visiting Lebanese President Aoun that day to discuss the implementation of the US-Lebanon three-party framework agreement. The State Department issued a statement saying that the two sides discussed the disarmament of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the destruction of its "terrorist infrastructure," and matters related to achieving peace in Lebanon.
