According to foreign media reports, Boeing (BA.N) increased the production of PAC-3 interceptor missile guidance systems by 30% last year and plans to achieve a similar increase this year to support the replenishment of critical air defense missile stockpiles in the United States. Boeing Defense CEO Steve Parker stated that the company produced 650 sets of guidance systems last year, which is equivalent to the number of PAC-3 missiles Lockheed Martin (LMT.N) plans to produce by 2026. Boeing's goal this year is to increase the production of guidance systems to 850 sets. During the Iran war, as Iran launched ballistic missiles at multiple targets in the region, the US and its allies launched thousands of PAC-3 interceptor missiles. A framework agreement signed this year is expected to increase the relevant production to 2,000 missiles per year by 2030.
