According to the app of Securities Times, on July 15th, data from the National Railway Administration showed that in the first half of the year, the national railway accumulated a total of 2.622 billion tons of goods sent, an increase of 2.5% year-on-year; the total amount of goods turnover completed was 18,849.59 billion ton-kilometers, an increase of 6.7% year-on-year. In June, the volume of goods sent was 436 million tons, roughly the same as last year. In terms of different categories of transportation, in the first half of the year, the national railway accumulated a total of 1.392 billion tons of coal sent, 541 million tons of containers, and 28.47 million tons of fertilizers and pesticides, which increased by 4.1%, 7.8%, and 14.3% respectively compared to last year. The transportation of key materials was smooth and orderly.
