Novartis announced that the Phase III registration clinical trial of the company's independently developed new generation of highly selective oral TYK2 inhibitor, soficitinib, for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in adults, has met its primary endpoint with high statistical significance and achieved clinically meaningful improvement. Several secondary endpoints were also successfully met, and the safety results were consistent with previous studies, with no new safety signals identified. The company will continue to complete long-term safety follow-up and advance subsequent registration filings.
