A fire broke out on the 14th in a building under renovation in the city center of Brussels, the capital of Belgium, and has resulted in six deaths. The Brussels Fire Department said that the fire initially started on the second floor of the building, and the burning material spread downward into the elevator shaft, causing the fire to spread to a larger area. The fire is currently under control.
