A section of road in Zhangjiakou, Hebei collapsed, resulting in 1 death.

The Emergency Management Bureau of Qiaodong District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, released a situation report on July 11th: Around 22:00 on July 10th, a road collapse occurred on the east side of the intersection of Jianguo Road and Shengjian Street in Qiaodong District, from south to north. After the accident, emergency, fire, traffic, urban management, health and other departments at both the city and district levels immediately rushed to the scene to carry out rescue and disposal work. After verification, a total of three vehicles fell into the collapsed area. Four trapped individuals have all been rescued, with one person dead, one person slightly injured, and the other two unharmed. The cause of the accident is under investigation. Follow-up and road repair work is proceeding in an orderly manner.
