Ministry of Culture and Tourism: Tourists in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region should be cautious of heavy rainfall and stay away from undeveloped and open areas.
Due to the impact of the southwest monsoon and Typhoon "Bavi", the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will experience heavy rainfall from July 10th to 11th. In some areas of northeastern Beijing, northern Tianjin, and northeastern Hebei, the accumulated rainfall could reach 300-350 millimeters, with maximum hourly rainfall exceeding 100 millimeters, posing high risks of disasters. The Market Management Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism urges the tourism departments of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei to strengthen monitoring of flood situations and identification of hidden dangers to ensure the safety of tourists and industry personnel. We remind tourists to closely follow weather alerts, adjust travel plans in a timely manner, stay away from undeveloped and open areas such as mountains and valleys, prioritize travel safety, and call for rescue in case of emergencies.
