SK Hynix's American depositary receipts (ADRs) are estimated to open at $180 per share, a 21% increase from the issuance price of $149. This offering of 177.9 million ADRs is expected to raise approximately $26.5 billion for the South Korean storage chip company. Each ADR represents one-tenth of a common stock listed on the Seoul Stock Exchange. The offering is led by Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and J.P. Morgan as joint bookrunners; with Cantor Fitzgerald, Mizuho Financial Group, Nomura Securities, Royal Bank of Canada, Rosenblatt Securities, Stephens Financial, Wedbush Securities, William Blair, and Nomura Wolf Alliance as co-managers. The ADRs will begin trading in the form of forward contracts on the Nasdaq Global Select Market later this week, under the ticker symbol SKHYV; and upon entering regular trading hours on July 13, the symbol will change to SKHY.
