Jiang Junwen, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Rural Credit Cooperatives Union in Hunan Province, has been expelled from the Party.

The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the National Supervisory Commission reported that, according to the discipline inspection and supervision commission of Hunan Province, recently, with the approval of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, the disciplinary inspection and supervision commission of Hunan Province conducted a case review and investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Jiang Junwen, former deputy secretary of the party committee, deputy chairman, and director of the Hunan Rural Credit Union. After investigation, Jiang Junwen has lost his ideal and belief, betrayed his original aspiration and mission, associated with political fraudsters, failed to report personal matters according to regulations, received illegal gifts, illegally held shares of unlisted companies, failed to fulfill his work duties properly, used his position for personal gain in loan approvals, project contracts, and illegally accepted large sums of money. Jiang Junwen has seriously violated the political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and work discipline of the party, committed serious violations of law and is suspected of bribery crimes. He has not restrained or stopped his actions after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, with a serious nature and adverse influence, and should be dealt with seriously. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Disciplinary Punishment Regulations of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Administrative Sanctions Law for Public Servants of the People's Republic of China," and other related regulations, after research and approval by the standing committee meeting of the discipline inspection commission of Hunan Province and reporting to the Hunan Provincial Party Committee for approval, it is decided to expel Jiang Junwen from the party, dismiss him from public office, confiscate his ill-gotten gains from violating discipline and law, and transfer him to the judiciary for review and prosecution of his suspected criminal activities, and all relevant properties will be transferred together.
