OpenAI application head Fidji Simo will step down

OpenAI's application business manager, Phoebe Simo, plans to resign from her full-time position after a long-term sick leave. She sent an internal email to all employees on Thursday informing them of this decision, stating that her condition has worsened and the recovery period will be much longer than expected. She will now serve as a part-time consultant for the company.
