According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, on July 9th, Typhoon "Bavi", the ninth typhoon of the year, is gradually approaching the northeastern coast of Taiwan and is expected to make landfall along the coast of Fuqing, Fujian to Wenling, Zhejiang on the evening of the 11th. The Fujian Maritime Bureau has strengthened proactive defense and initiated a level 2 emergency response to typhoons at 20:00 on July 9th. They are checking the information of ships in port, the number of people on board, and the implementation of measures, focusing on developing prevention and control plans for each ship. They are reminding passing ships at sea to take precautions against typhoons and assisting southbound ships in seeking shelter and evacuating. Before suspending ferry services, they are quickly evacuating passengers to avoid being stranded on the islands. In key water areas, patrol boats have been stationed to guide ships to reinforce anchorages and ensure safe anchoring to prevent anchor-related accidents. Currently, cruise ships have been suspended from entering coastal ports in Fujian, and all leisure boats, including yachts, have ceased operations. Ship operations have been halted in Ningde and Fuzhou, and 57 ferry lines north of Xiamen have stopped operations as of 18:00 on the 9th, with all personnel evacuated. 110 water projects under construction, 14 wind farms, 273 construction boats, 56 maintenance boats, and 117 traffic boats have been moved to safe water areas to seek shelter.
