National Bureau of Statistics: CPI rose by 1.0% year-on-year in June, a decrease of 0.3% month-on-month.
According to the Wise Wealth Finance APP, data from the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in June 2026, the national consumer price index rose by 1.0% year-on-year. Among them, urban areas increased by 1.0%, while rural areas increased by 0.8%; food prices fell by 1.6%, non-food prices rose by 1.5%; consumer goods prices increased by 1.1%, while service prices rose by 0.8%. On average from January to June, the national consumer price index increased by 1.0% compared to the same period last year. In June, the national consumer price index decreased by 0.3% month-on-month. Among them, urban areas decreased by 0.4%, rural areas decreased by 0.3%; food prices fell by 0.4%, non-food prices fell by 0.3%; consumer goods prices fell by 0.6%, while service prices remained stable.
