According to data from the US Department of Treasury, investment funds purchased $506.26 billion worth of 5-year US Treasury notes due on June 30, 2031 in the latest bi-weekly statistical period, compared to a purchase of $508.47 billion in the same period last month. Overseas investors increased their holdings of 5-year US Treasury notes due on June 30, 2031 by $88.65 billion, compared to an increase of $89.46 billion in the same period last month.
