US stocks closed: the three major indexes rose and fell unevenly.

Synchrony Financial fell 9.63%, Moderna fell 7.50%, Southwest Airlines fell 6.51%, Raytheon Technologies fell 6.33%, Akamai Technologies rose 10.69%, Arista Networks rose 8.75%, and Advanced Micro Devices rose 7.39%. As for the "Big Seven" companies: Nvidia rose 3.67%, Apple rose 0.86%, Amazon fell 0.96%, Google fell 1.32%, Microsoft fell 1.48%, Meta Platforms fell 2.04%, and Tesla fell 2.22%.
