U.S. Treasury Department data: In the latest bi-weekly statistical period, investment funds net purchased $53.459 billion of 2-year U.S. Treasury notes maturing on June 30, 2028; the purchase volume in the same period last month was $48.203 billion. Foreign capital bought $5.864 billion of 7-year U.S. Treasury notes maturing on June 30, 2033, compared to a purchase volume of $5.651 billion in the same period last month.
