The death toll from the earthquake in Venezuela has risen to 2645.

On March 3 local time, the Venezuelan Ministry of Communication reported that the death toll from the earthquake had risen to 2645, with the number of injured rising to 12666. Additionally, 6462 people were rescued. The earthquake also caused damage to 1074 buildings to varying degrees, leaving 15050 people homeless.
