The largest film and television base in China, Hengdian Film and Television City, has announced a number of preferential policies, including free access to 500,000 square meters of film studios, and the addition of over 200,000 square meters of free scenes. Hengdian Film and Television City stated that the preferential policies released this time focus on themes such as ancient costumes, historical eras, and modern times, covering various types of audiovisual products including movies, variety shows, horizontal screen dramas, and vertical screen dramas. The industry is expected to save over one billion yuan each year, and the comprehensive shooting cost for crews in Hengdian is estimated to decrease by around 30%.
