Typhoon "Mekkhala" made landfall in Hainan.

According to the latest news from the China Meteorological Administration, Typhoon "Maysak," the 10th typhoon of the year, made landfall along the coast of Lingao Li Autonomous County in Hainan Province around 18:20 on July 3. At the time of landing, the maximum wind near the center was at force 9, with a minimum central pressure of 990 hPa. This is also the first typhoon to make landfall in China this year.
