HuaYin Power announced that the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies from January 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026 is expected to be between 45 million yuan and 55 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 73.37% to 78.21%. The net profit after deducting non-recurring gains and losses is expected to be between 40 million yuan and 50 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 75.59% to 80.47%. In the first half of 2026, Hunan Province is in a period of abundant water supply, with a year-on-year increase of about 45% in hydropower generation. This has temporarily reduced the space for the company's thermal power and new energy power generation, affecting the electricity spot market prices and resulting in a decrease in profit compared to the previous year. Starting from June 1, 2026, the electricity price for thermal power in Hunan Province will increase to 330 yuan per kilowatt, but for the first five months, the price remains at 165 yuan per kilowatt, which has not fully supported the company's thermal power income.
