Media: By the end of June, Russia proactively reduced its diesel exports, rather than implementing an export ban.
Russian business consulting media RBC cited a report from the Price Index Center stating that although the government has not implemented a ban on diesel exports, major oil companies have voluntarily reduced the amount of diesel shipped by sea. From June 22 to 28, the export volume of light oil products from Russian ports decreased by 40% compared to the previous week, with daily export volume dropping to 23,000 tons. These goods are only shipped from the Ust-Luga port in the Baltic Sea and consist of a type of gasoline produced by a condensate processing plant.
