Liu Jingkang, the founder and chairman of Shadowstone Innovation, recently stated at the company's 2025 annual shareholder meeting that the current market landscape for intelligent imaging in China is dominated by DJI and Shadowstone Innovation, and this is "not a rational market." He believes that a price war is a difficult competition to prove, and no company can rely solely on a price war to achieve long-term monopoly or profitability, especially in the consumer electronics industry where industry development cannot rely on price wars. "In the face of competition in the current intelligent imaging market, Shadowstone's philosophy remains to rely on forward-looking insights into customer needs, early deployment, and R&D investment to build barriers, rather than short-term price competition." Regarding the company's investment in AI algorithms, he admitted: "Finding a hundred billion-dollar thing in the field of imaging technology is my goal; in future business models, the proportion of software fees and storage services at Shadowstone Innovation may increase."
