CICC stated that looking ahead, they believe that the supply of REITs between institutions is expected to double by the end of the year. The market may present three major development trends: accelerated foreign capital layout to revitalize real estate, shelf-style sequential issuance and stock expansion towards normalization, and continued landing of various first-tier underlying assets. With the continuous accumulation of underlying operational data and deepening regulatory guidance, product architecture design will further converge towards equity origin. In the long run, supported by the gradually improved regulatory system, institution-to-institution REITs will become a long-term equity financing vehicle for revitalizing existing real estate assets and serving the real economy.
