Newair Robot has announced the completion of a 50 million yuan angel round of financing, led by Blue Lake Capital, with participation from Differs Capital and Qingshan Park Pu Yi Investment. Two months ago, Newair completed a seed round of financing led by Plug and Play China Fund. Newair is a "computational intelligence" brain company. The company's founder, Professor Yang Ruigang, formerly served as the director of Baidu's Autonomous Driving and Robotics Lab, led the Baidu ApolloScape open-source dataset for autonomous driving, served as the CTO of autonomous driving truck company TuSimple, and promoted the large-scale production of L3-level autonomous driving heavy trucks.
