The first high-speed train was launched in Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia.

At 8:44 am on June 30th, train C978 departed from Xilinhot Station in Xilin Gol League, headed for Hohhot East Station in Hohhot City. This is the first time that Xilin Gol League has operated a high-speed train, making it the 10th league in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to have high-speed train service. The travel time between Xilinhot and Hohhot has been greatly reduced to 5 hours and 55 minutes, compared to the previous 9 hours.
