The newly installed capacity of the Sichuan Dadu River Hydropower Base has exceeded 2 million kilowatts.
Today, the last unit of the Sanduping hydropower station on the Dadu River in Leshan City, Sichuan Province successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The hydropower station is equipped with a total of 6 units with an installed capacity of 360,000 kilowatts. This marks the completion of 5 hydropower stations and 1 photovoltaic project at the beginning of the 11th Five-Year Plan period in the Dadu River hydropower base, with a total of 17 hydropower units put into operation, totaling an additional installed capacity of 2.172 million kilowatts, becoming the first basin in China to achieve centralized and large-scale hydropower production during the 11th Five-Year Plan period.
