The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States announced on social media that a JetBlue Airways pilot reported a near collision with a drone while preparing to land at Kennedy Airport in the morning. The announcement stated that the incident occurred at around 7:15 am when the aircraft hit the drone at a flight altitude of approximately 914 meters. Subsequent inspections did not find any damage to the aircraft. The FAA will investigate the incident. According to reports from JetBlue Airways, the aircraft involved landed safely and all passengers disembarked normally. The aircraft involved was an Airbus A321 flying from Las Vegas to New York.
