A flight in New York collided with a drone when landing.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced on social media on the 29th that a pilot from JetBlue Airways reported a near collision with a drone while preparing to land at Kennedy Airport that morning. The announcement said the incident occurred at around 7:15 a.m., with the aircraft hitting the drone at a flying altitude of approximately 914 meters. Subsequent checks did not reveal any damage to the aircraft. The FAA will investigate the incident. According to reports from the JetBlue Airways, the aircraft involved landed safely and all passengers disembarked normally. The aircraft involved was an Airbus A321 flying from Las Vegas to New York.
