The Xiong'an New Area natural gas supply line project has been officially put into operation, with an annual gas transmission capacity exceeding 31 billion cubic meters.

It was learned from the national pipe network group that the Xiong'an New Area natural gas supply special line project of Shanjing Pipeline has been officially put into operation, forming a "double source" guarantee with the already supplied Mengxi pipeline, which provides support for clean energy in Xiong'an New Area. The Xiong'an New Area natural gas supply special line starts from the downstream 20 kilometers of the Renqiu distribution station of Shanjing Second Line, and the end point is Xiongxian Guoge Township Xiong'an terminal station, with a total length of 5.8 kilometers. The line is equipped with 2 stations, with a designed annual gas transportation capacity of 31.6 billion cubic meters. The project crosses the Wenan Wazizhang flood storage area, where the groundwater level is high and rivers and canals are densely distributed. Facing the complex environment, directional drilling construction methods were used to avoid affecting the functions of the flood storage area and to maximize the preservation of farmland and vegetation along the line. The natural gas transported by the special line is equivalent to about 4.2 million tons of substitute coal and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by about 4.62 million tons, providing strong energy security for Xiong'an New Area to build a model of green development and a future city suitable for living and business.
