The Huai'an Hub Project has made progress, and the Jing-Hang Grand Canal, which was diverted for over a year, has been restored to navigation.

Currently, the Huaihe River basin has entered the main flood season, and major water conservancy projects in various places are seizing the favorable opportunity and advancing at full speed. Today, the second phase of the Huaihe River Estuary Channel project has reached a critical stage, the Huai'an Hub project's north and south cofferdams have been successfully removed, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal has been restored to its original navigation channel. As the first cargo ship loaded with goods sailed along the river channel of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal into the completed Huai'an Hub project, it signaled the restoration of the original navigation route of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal after more than a year of diversion.
