Hainan adjusts the housing provident fund deposit base, which will be implemented starting from July.

The Housing Provident Fund Administration Bureau of Hainan Province issued the "Notice on the Range of Housing Provident Fund Deposit Base for the Year 2026" on June 26. The notice stipulates that the deposit base of employees' housing provident fund shall not be lower than the minimum wage standard of the previous year in the city or county where the employee works, and shall not exceed three times the average monthly wage of employees in the city or county where the employee works in the previous year. The range of housing provident fund deposit base specified in the notice applies to non-private units in urban areas, and private units in urban areas shall follow the standards. The range of housing provident fund deposit base for the year 2026 applies from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
