Thirteen rivers across the country experienced floods exceeding warning levels.
Journalists learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that due to the impact of rainfall, 13 rivers including the Jianghan section of the Xijiang River in Guiping, Guangxi, and its tributaries Baisha River and Hongshui River, Panxiang River, Zhumuhu River, Huamei River, Wusi River, and the south-flowing river along the coast of southern Guangxi, the Panlong River, a tributary of the Xijiang River in Guangdong, the Shuibian River, a tributary of the Beijiang River, the Fengqing River, a tributary of the Lancang River in Yunnan, the Jimuxi River and Wenjiang River, tributaries of the Minjiang River in Fujian, and the Hailaer River, a tributary of the Erguna River in Inner Mongolia, have experienced flooding exceeding the warning level, with the maximum exceeding 0.86 meters. Most of them have now receded below the warning level.
