WPS responds to the problem of C drive occupation: Disk storage management function will be launched.
On June 27th, in response to the recent concentrated user feedback on the issue of C drive occupation, WPS stated that they have completed troubleshooting and optimization has been initiated. The new version to be launched in July will add a path selection function to the installation interface. In terms of usage, WPS has added a "Storage Management" module in the settings page, displaying the occupation and available space of various files such as cache, file backup, and cloud document cache in a centralized manner. WPS says that caches and backups are stored by default in the C drive, and the occupation situation is not very intuitive, indeed causing confusion for some frequent users. The core logic of this optimization is "selective installation, manage usage", allowing users to clearly understand how much local storage is being used, which files can be cleared, and giving them the autonomy to manage it at any time from installation to usage.
