Bosch CEO Resigns
Bosch Group CEO Stefan Hantong is about to step down, during his tenure he led a large-scale layoff to enhance the competitiveness of the world's largest automotive parts supplier. Bosch announced on Friday that the 60-year-old Hantong voluntarily requested to leave, planning to devote himself to a new social charity and entrepreneurial project. 58-year-old Deputy CEO Christian Fisher will take over as CEO on July 1. Hantong has been in charge of this privately held company since 2022, specializing in transmission system components, power tools, and air conditioning equipment, rising from the grassroots to top management. CFO Markus Fuchsner and automotive business leader Markus Hein will serve as the new co-deputy chief executive officers. Bosch stated that Hantong's departure has been fully communicated with the company.
