China Merchants Bank: will suspend the "Attracting Wealth Gold" business after July 27th, and will choose the timing to do so.

On June 26th, China Merchants Bank announced that, in accordance with the risk management and business needs of precious metals, the bank will make adjustments to its individual precious metals business as an agent of the Shanghai Gold Exchange. The bank will suspend the "Zhao Cai Jin" business at a selected time after July 27th, 2026, and close the trading permissions for individual precious metals business at the Shanghai Gold Exchange through channels such as mobile banking, online banking, and branch counters. After the closure, clients holding positions will have restricted permissions for closing positions, selling, and taking delivery.
