Ship data shows: Qatar's empty liquefied natural gas carrier in the Strait of Hormuz turned around and returned.
Ship tracking data shows that the Qatar state-owned shipping company's empty liquefied natural gas carrier "Umsalal" turned around in the Hormuz Strait and suspended its journey into the Persian Gulf. Another empty liquefied natural gas ship, the "Al Harasa", has stopped near the anchorage of Khor Fakkan in eastern UAE and near the entrance of the Hormuz Strait. Prior to this, a cargo ship was attacked, once again sparking concerns in the market about the safety of shipping in the strait. On Thursday, another liquefied natural gas carrier turned around and returned before entering the strait.
