The SCO Investment and Business Forum is held in Kyrgyzstan.
The two-day Shanghai Cooperation Organization Investment and Business Forum opened in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on the 24th. Over 600 representatives from the political and business sectors attended to discuss new opportunities for investment cooperation.
Kyrgyzstan's First Deputy Prime Minister Amangeldi Madyiev stated that SCO countries have abundant human resources, natural resources, and a strong industrial and agricultural base, with huge development potential. He emphasized the need to further support youth entrepreneurship and cultivate professionals who can adapt to the digital economy and global competition.
The Director of the National Investment Agency under the Kyrgyz President, Sabirov, stated that SCO countries have broad opportunities in jointly implementing investment projects. Kyrgyzstan will focus on establishing an effective platform for direct dialogue between government and enterprises, creating a favorable investment environment, and creating space for regional cooperation.
