The Ministry of Commerce has released the "Methods for Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Security Investigation Work."
According to the Caijing App, the Ministry of Commerce announced on June 24th that in order to implement the "State Council's Provisions on Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Security" (State Council Order No. 834), and to conduct investigations on industrial chain and supply chain security, in order to safeguard the security of China's industrial chain and supply chain, the Ministry of Commerce has formulated the "Measures for the Investigation of Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Security" and is hereby announced, and will be implemented from the date of announcement. It is proposed that the Ministry of Commerce may conduct investigations on measures or actions that fall within the following circumstances: (1) Foreign countries, regions, and international organizations violate international law and basic norms of international relations, and adopt discriminatory prohibitive, restrictive, or similar measures in the industrial chain and supply chain against China, implementing or assisting in actions that harm China's industrial chain and supply chain security; (2) Foreign organizations and individuals violate normal market trading principles, interrupt normal transactions with Chinese citizens and organizations, adopt discriminatory measures against Chinese citizens and organizations, or engage in other actions that substantially damage or threaten to substantially damage China's industrial chain and supply chain security.
